DIY After Sun Rescue Spray
Have you seen it? The glowing orb that is peeking out from behind the clouds more and more frequently lately? What's it called? Sun? Yes! The sun! We are located in a pretty gloomy area of the PNW in Seattle, and when the sun is out, so are we! We soak up that glorious vitamin D every chance we get, but sometimes too much of a good thing is just too much...When our poor skin is hot and red from too much "fun in the sun," we like to spray this DIY After Sun Rescue Spray all over for quick relief. **Keep it in the fridge for even better cooling effect!**
DIY After Sun Rescue Spray:
1-2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel
1/2 cup witch hazel
10 drops peppermint essential oil
10 drops lavender essential oil
Mix all ingredients with half of the witch hazel into a spray bottle (I use a 4 oz. glass bottle) and shake. Add the remaining witch hazel. Give the spray a little shake before each use. Enjoy!
