Happy New Year--Let's Catch Up!

Hi friends! We hope you all had an amazing holiday season and that your 2021 will be a million times better than your 2020 (because who really had a great 2020, right???)! We took a little time away from blogging in December because, well, it's the most wonderful and the BUSIEST time of the year for our family and our business.

As you know, our son, Nick, was diagnosed with brain cancer almost 10 years ago. On December 16th, he had his annual MRI and check up at Seattle Childen's Hospital. He recently turned 18, so his days are numbered in the Children's Hospital system. This is something to celebrate of course...There was a time we didn't know if this day would come...But it is a little bittersweet. His treatment at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego was the best of the best. He's had follow up care at Duke Children's Hospital in N.C. and now Seattle Children's Hospital in WA. The doctors and nurses who work in pediatric hematology/oncology are a special, angelic, heroic breed. We are forever grateful for his outstanding care. AND-We are elated that his scans were once again clear!!! That was definitely our best Christmas gift this year, and we were able to relax and celebrate after we got those results.

I took him by surprise with this photo--So maybe not the best--But this is Nick when we visited Snoqulamie Falls in December:

We are working on our business plans and calendar for 2021 right now, and we have decided that we will donate 10% of our profits, as we're able, to a different childhood cancer non-profit or Children's Hospital every month. At the beginning of each month, we will let you know where that month's donation will be going and why. It may influence your shopping patterns or encourage you to donate on your own--Which is always so appreciated!

Here are a few photos from other adventures we had in our moments of downtime in December.

We are rested, our souls nourished, our hearts looking forward to joy and love, health and prosperity, in 2021! Thank you for being on this journey with us--We can't wait for all that's in store for us all in the future!
